CleanSierra Posted May 22, 2012 Report Share Posted May 22, 2012 According to my math, with a constant 14 volts and amp efficiency of 75%(both estimates are generous, because I doubt either are realistic), those amps are trying to pull roughly 230 amps on music, or 460ish on strictly tones. Your stock alternator is good for at most 145(if it's the heavier alt from the factory). You DEFINITELY need a HO alt even though you're running a couple extra batts. Also, you shouldn't be having a lead cell battery in your cabin, unless you like deadly fumes in the air. Quote Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
