These are vids of team livewire-eric's astro van at 2007 MECA finals doing his driveby SPL runs. For those of you who don't know, driveby is a 30 second average of music with the termlab 6 feet away from the car! Here's his first run: http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=...ideoid=22366411 Now since that score was so absurdly ridiculous (it beat tommy (king of bass) mckinnies driveby record score by 3.5 db!!), eric thought that he would do another run just to prove that it wasn't a fluke. Well, thats because he broke his windshield during the run! Impressive to say the least. Not too many people can break a windshield with a door or window open. It takes an insane amount of pressure. The crazy thing about this setup is that it was only 12 12's and 6 crunch 3000d's!! When driving the van home back to ohio from finals (which was in nashville), the van caught fire in the rear and destroyed nearly every piece of equipment and made the van a total loss. Eric was devastated. But amazingly a bunch of competitors grouped together and raised money to buy eric a new van and new equipment to replace what he had lost!! Eric has been such a great competitor and friend and nobody wanted to see his competition career come to an end like this.
