fritosaregood
the tuning can also change once the box is in the vehicle, and that will change the point where the sub will barely move. Im sure if you take the box out and play it just sitting on the ground the sub will move the least at the tuning it was built too. Sanitarium
try mine. allows custom end correction for the port. https://docs.google....54NnNkWGc#gid=0 Edit: in order to actually edit that and play with it you'll have to go to File > download as and download it as an excel document or open office document. If you don't have microsoft office installed, you can download open office for free (free as in beer... it's open source). Or upload to your own google documents account. CHEVY4X4BLAZER
Don't mean to thread jack, but can someone elaborate on the "sub not moving = enclosure frequency"?
RooTxBeeR
I just want to know where he thinks the calc is soo far off. I know people on here have been using it forever, and if it really is 7hz off what it says, people would have noticed loooong ago. ChevyBoy95
im talking about the tuning frequency of the box itself. i fully understand a vehicals tuning, but thats not my issue (this time lol). the frequency in which the sub appears to not be moving is the tuning freqency of the enclosure, correct? thats the way i was taught for years. not always true. Torres
the tuning can also change once the box is in the vehicle, and that will change the point where the sub will barely move. Im sure if you take the box out and play it just sitting on the ground the sub will move the least at the tuning it was built too. and i am quite confident in the accuracy of my calculator. i would not have put it out if there was more than a 1 hz difference. also, it just tunes boxes. does not mean any/every box will sound good in any/every vehicle.
