kalilac619
And finally got the cherry "wood" vinyl for the box. Gotta fill screw holes first. Never tried this stuff, but only need a small amount so why not. Waiting for the first pass to dry, then ill hit it with a quick sanding and go from there. Stuff works pretty good ive been told.afro bass used it to patch his screw holes for his subs to re tap new holes and it holds his subs.so id say that's a pretty good test Lol 2000 Suburban 6 runs of 2/0 12 timpano audio mids,6 timpana audio tweets and 1 timpano compression horn per door 8 banks of blue Maxwells + 260ah of Yin Long LTOs 2 370 Amp Autotech Alts mids amps 2 Crescendo Skyway 3ks Tweet amp Crossfire 2000.4 sub amp: 4 Crossfire XT 8ks Subs: 8 18 in Crossfires in a 4th order Best Scores at events… 161.6@38hz DBdrag sealed on the dash… 162.54 outlaw…161.14 Meca headrest
OrionStang
Good to hear, Noah. I just sanded the first fill and the stuff is solid, but still sands down smooth and easy. I'd recommend it. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
hdorre
If the self adhesive is shit, then I'd recommend Weldwood. You can get it at home depot. It's insanely easy to work with. I can PM you pics (to prevent thread jacking) to show you. Keep in mind that I'm a 17 year old "kid" and these are the ONLY pieces I've ever wrapped. I didn't re-wrap anything too. All I used was a $0.6x cent paint brush, the Weldwood, and my moms hair dryer for the curves. Lmk if you want pics. Ill have to decide when I reach that point. No telling how the adhesive will react with Weldwood, or 3M spray-on (what I use), might eff it all up. Feel free to post pic's here man, its all relevant to the build. Thats true.. I didnt think of that. If the adhesive in fact is shit, then I suppose Ill post a few pics. OrionStang
Hit it with 80, 120, then jumped to 600. Just sanding, watching the draft. Baffle is smooth as fawk!!! Should have hit the port like this LOL. Gonna do a little stick test, to see how well the self-adhesive works. OrionStang
I put a little piece down to see how it sticks around the corners. Sticks very well on the face,,,, But, around the edge, not so much. 5 minutes later it was lifting up already. No worries, ill just staple around the edges as planned.
