I've heard horror stories about how the stealerships treat cars, especially fast ones like yours. OrionStang Posted January 23, 2014 Author Report Posted January 23, 2014 Finally got the car back, and guess what the dealer found. Nothing. Not a damn thing wrong with the engine or its parameters. "Performed EEC diagnosis, KOER/KOEO selftest passed with no codes. Performed compression test on all cylinders hot and cold, all pass. Test drove vehicle while monitoring power balance and mulitple PID data, fuel pressure, maf, baro, O2 readings, ETC, load, VTC, all passed. No misfires verified. Inspected air filter element and entire intake system." They did say that my fuel economy is worse due to the new rear tires. Slightly smaller overall rolling diameter, so the odometer is probably off a little, not ACTUAL fuel consumption. I kinda think I am being mislead, but whatever. Now if something breaks I have this report stating nothing is wrong. I am now thinking I may have some sort of drag somewhere in the rear end; brakes, bearings, gears, pinion angle, etc. (Fronts roll very free when the cars off the ground). That would explain the feel of less power, but I have to pinpoint the problem. Maybe I should just sell this car and get something new, with the power I want from the factory.
