A Big Green Egg is a helluva expensive way to get into grilling. If you want to do a lot of smoked food (ribs, pork butts, whole birds, etc) look into one of these: http://www.basspro.com/Masterbuilt-Extra-Wide-Propane-Smoker/product/10219561/ or something similar. I L-O-V-E mine!!!!!!!! and then I just have a cheapy grill for doing burgers, dogs, steaks, etc! Ive got a gas grill a regular grill and a smoker. i know the damn egg is expensive but just want one of them. My buddy has one and always talks about how great it is. I love to cook. n1ghtsn1p3r Posted November 9, 2012 Report Posted November 9, 2012 Just now finished off the rest of a medium pepperoni, sausage, and onion pizza from Godfather's Pizza that we grabbed on our way back into town from an out-of-town job with my dad yesterday. It was our "meal" on the way back It was delicious. Too bad we don't have one here though. The funny thing was was that a friend of mine made it (the pizza place is located in a gas station that he works at ) lunch today That looks awesome. My dad has a couple of those smokers. They are so easy to put together, I actually put it together by myself when I was 5 WITHOUT instructions (my dad was still studying them ). For some reason we got a second one a few years ago, along with one of those sideways "barrel" smokers for bigger stuff. Plus we have a few charcoal and propane grills.
