Going to do some bracing inside the box too

Just need to figure out.... Worth my time to resin or no? I'd be doing all the work from the port holes with the box inside the car

I wish sub woofer companies would make wider mounting for the subs. Seems like you only get like 1/4" of wood to screw into. To me that's just too close to the edge.

What kind of screws did you break?

So the actual screws themselves broke? Damn, I thought they pulled free from the box, I was gonna see what your fix would have been for that, lol.

Also, yea, what screws broke? got me all nervous....

They half broke, half pulled out. Screws broke midway down the threads. I could unscrew them, but only got about half the screw out

Screws holding the subs into the wood :)

Yeah.... I do NOT want to go through messed up magnet screws again. yuckblachhowaboutno lol

I WAS using deck screws. Spax, but still just deck screws.

Gotcha, yea, when I/we asked which screws I meant like black phillips head screws or.... not which ones as in the ones holding your subs, lol. my bad

That thing is just brutal. How well does the 8K push them things? Fucking tits?

Yeah the 8k is about right power wise. Pretty much right on the border between too much power and needing to worry about them thermally and not having enough power to move them mechanically
