SCS_Audio
The DC Audio amp from above. Above is a picture from Audiopipe APK I believe. That one is a Crescendo BC2K I believe. I grabbed these pics from a bench test thread on CACO for the APSM-1500. I am NOT saying these amps are the same by any means but they look very similar. I am just looking for some input on how often multiple amps use the same boards. Do they use the same components? Is there a place to go that has information like this? 2012 North American Street Stock Runner-up - 150.9 on 1800 clamped watts (Teammate)2013 dB Drag Street Trunk World Champion - 153.9 on 3200 clamped Watts (Teammate)2013 MECA Trunk 1 World Champion - 152.8 Headrest (Teammate)2013 MECA Park & Pound 2 World Champion - 130.6 (Teammate)Checkout our build and videos !! : ) 150+ Trunk Build Log itsgordy1 youtube channel (click for Hairtricks)Smith's Custom SeatsMartinsburg, PA (Second Skin Dealer)
CJ18
Just because the boards look the same doesnt mean the parts used are. There is a reason for the price difference.

SCS_Audio
Just because the boards look the same doesnt mean the parts used are. There is a reason for the price difference. So the difference is the components that get put on the boards? So if I bought each of these amps and really looked close, one would use 10% tolerance resistors and one would use 5% ones? I guess I just like an overkill of information when looking at things and transparency of facts. It is just confusing for consumers. Its like if 5 companies bought the same vehicle body and just put their own different spark plugs, headlights, etc. in it and then put their badge on the grill. They look the same and supposedly one performs better than the other, but without specifics about what is different or first hand experience, you have to be careful about believing what you hear. I am in NO way saying a DC 2K is the same as a Audiopipe amps......I am just asking questions on a larger level when it comes to differentiating products in an industry that is very biased when it comes to reviews and contradictory as far as credible information goes. It just happened I saw these pictures after reading the post on CACO with those other pictures and it peaked my interest. 2012 North American Street Stock Runner-up - 150.9 on 1800 clamped watts (Teammate)2013 dB Drag Street Trunk World Champion - 153.9 on 3200 clamped Watts (Teammate)2013 MECA Trunk 1 World Champion - 152.8 Headrest (Teammate)2013 MECA Park & Pound 2 World Champion - 130.6 (Teammate)Checkout our build and videos !! : ) 150+ Trunk Build Log itsgordy1 youtube channel (click for Hairtricks)Smith's Custom SeatsMartinsburg, PA (Second Skin Dealer)
