Define cheap.

How much do you have in budget for your system?

How much wiggle room do you have with your budget?

Hifonics BRZ1200d

2 DC Level 3 12's

or

Sundown SA 12's

or

Obsidian Audio 12's

Any of those with dual 4ohm coils so you can run 1ohm at the amp

Go to SonicElectronix or AudioSavings and search for 6x9's and a 4 channel amp that fit your budget.

What headunit do you have? Can you fit 6.5's in the front doors?

I'd do:

Components: Pioneer D-Series 6 3/4" Components: $130 Free shipping

Speaker Amp: Aura RPM4200 4 channel: $99.98 Free Shipping

Sub Amp: AQ1200D: $269.00 + Shipping

Subs: Two Obsidian 12's (D4): $276 + shipping

Total Cost: $774.98 + Shipping (On the Sub amp and subs)

And you'll be getting some quality equipment!

*New vehicle and system coming soon.*

Don't use 6x9s. You can fit 6.5" speakers with some adapters if needed.

Only front speakers, you don't need nothing in the back, except the sub. One 12" sub can be enough if you're on a tight budget. I'd look into sundown or DC or SSA instead of the Obsidians.

Good luck.

black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp

OEM head unit, Amplifiers Audison AP 8.9 amp with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200.

Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats.

2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a 2.6 ft3  ported box. SecondSkin Damplifier on front doors, and Luxury Liner Pro for the cargo area.

For your substage i guess you this Skaroffer http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/123519-2-skar-vvx-12s-custom-ported-box-special-42999-shipped/ + AQ 1200 http://www.audioque.com/Amplifiers_c_7.html + 2 of those batts one up front one in the trunk http://www.remybattery.com/Deka-Intimidator-9A34M-AGM-Marine-Battery-P9239.aspx, if you have a AGM batt up front only one for the trunk. Here is a terreble low offer of 0/! gauge wire http://www.audiosavings.com/products/Car-Amplifier-Power-Cable/Cadence-0G100-BLUE-0-AWG-Gauge-17-Feet-Car-Amp-Power-Wire-Cool-Cable-Technology/17+FEET+0G100-BLUE.aspx buy it two times so you have enough for http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/13280-how-to-do-the-big-3-tutorial/ or 3 times if you want to ground your amp´s on the front batt (best ground).

Other Amp option is a used DC 1.2 K out of this http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/145627-fs-2-dc-audio-12ks/.

And how many 6x9 do you want 2 or 4?
