Ray-ban
I have a hifonics BRZ1200 in my trunk and i unplugged the wires leading to my subs and wrapped them with electric tape so that they dont touch each other or anything else in the trunk. Is it safe for me to ride around like this or should i figure out how to cut the power to the amp?

It shouldn't pose a problem I've done it before...unplugging the amp would be an extra safety precaution but you gotta make sure you tape up the power lead damn good
OrionStang
I 've got hot 1/0 in my trunk right now. Wrapped with electrical tape, and then wrapped in a shop towel, also taped. You can do it, but be over cautious. Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
Chris Hammer
Why dont you remove the wires from the terminal on the amp or just remove the small turn on wire. Does your headunit have an option to turn it off or on. My pioneer lets me turn it off. siucsaluki11
This is why i have a fused distribution block, i can just pull the fuses there instead of under my hood, which is nice since i have a monoblock and a 4ch Quote woman..cant live with em...cant shoot em...guess were all fucked You might be a Redneck if you use your leftover gutters for a speaker box port...
