scooter99 Posted August 27, 2012 Report Posted August 27, 2012 Battery Tender Plus works well with these. I have one for my XS D6500's and they charge well. You don't have to always charge them, but if your alt won't do it, you need to keep them maintained and on a good charge or your alternator will not be happy with you. It'll put too much load on it. You are running just 1 battery for that? I would run 2 if you could. I have a 06 yukon and have 2 xs3400's under the hood for a crescendo 3k. If you go down to a GM dealer, ask them for the HD battery tray for the suburban and hold down.
