slammed96
For starters I have a stock 95 amp alt. I have a yellow top under the hood and kinetik hc200 in back. Big 3 done. All 0 gauge wire. Just bought 2 xs xp3000 to add to the back. Is this too much strain on the alternator or will it work untill I save up more to buy bigger alt? audiofanaticz
Its getting to be a decent bit of strain on a tiny alternator. id ditch the little kinetik you have in the back for sure once you put the xp3000s in the vehicle.
HunterJohnson
Why would he ditch the kinetic besides it being different brands? Dan2427
If you do run your stock alt for awhile personally I'd trickle charge your batteries once or twice a week.. And then still keep that habit when you get a high output alt! Just my opinion.
