252chevyboyz
Worked until 630 tonight so I didn't have much time to work on anything. I should be cutting the pieces tomorrow and hope fully gettin it together. I don't have any cooling fans yet but I will have those ordered within a week. I got all materials needed except for the ring terminal and I'll pick that up tomorrow after I get off work. After I get the amp rack built and the ground upgraded on my amp I'll bed line the sub box and the amp rack. Although I may wait until I get the cooling fan holes cut out to bed line the amp rack. The ground will be going to the frame instead of he rear seat bolt -James - 1997 Chevy Tahoe- Big 3 (1/0)- Dual Autocraft Batts- JVC KD-A315 HU- AQ 2200.1D- 18" AQ HDC3- Box w/ Removable Port (6ft^3 @ 36hz & 6.7ft^3 @ 42hz)- 39' 1/0 & 13' 2/0 Flex-A-Prene My Selling Feedback Build Log
ch0sen
I ordered some 120mm fans from newegg for my build, and the heat is killer, i worked in my trunk till 8 ish and man, it was still killer My current 95 Jetta Build w/ pioneer h/u 2 RD Sonance 10's with flatwind coils 2 Audiopipe apsm 1500.1s 1 Hifonics Brutus Elite 60x4 1 XS d925 1 Stinger spv35 1 1000 amp lead acid 50 ft of 0/1 ofc from Audiotechnix all powerbass components, and coaxils, 4 sets buildlog = http://www.stevemead...2-rd-10s-build/ My build for my wife. http://www.stevemead...01-f-150-build/
252chevyboyz
That's actually where I am going to order from and I'll be ordering the 120's also. Yea I work in a landscaping business and the heat just ends up draining you by the end of the day. Our next 2 days here in Rocky Mount are predicted to be 100 even then add humidity and you get our like 105-110 heat index. I turned the gains down on my amp already since it is going to be 98+ guaranteed. This new amp rack is a must for this southern heat so it will be finished as soon as I possibly can get it done -James - 1997 Chevy Tahoe- Big 3 (1/0)- Dual Autocraft Batts- JVC KD-A315 HU- AQ 2200.1D- 18" AQ HDC3- Box w/ Removable Port (6ft^3 @ 36hz & 6.7ft^3 @ 42hz)- 39' 1/0 & 13' 2/0 Flex-A-Prene My Selling Feedback Build Log

252chevyboyz
That's what i was thinking. Any ideas on a good way to mount them being so close to the floor? I was thinking of taking some scrap mdf and a router to see if i can flush mount it in the mdf like 3/8" that way I'll still have something to screw the fan to. What be a good way to mount the fan? - 1997 Chevy Tahoe- Big 3 (1/0)- Dual Autocraft Batts- JVC KD-A315 HU- AQ 2200.1D- 18" AQ HDC3- Box w/ Removable Port (6ft^3 @ 36hz & 6.7ft^3 @ 42hz)- 39' 1/0 & 13' 2/0 Flex-A-Prene My Selling Feedback Build Log
