Robby Holmes
last night while driving home my sub starting sounding really hollow, and like it was flapping. upon pulling the 4.4 cube box out of the trunk (by my damn self -.-) this is what i've found... well... time to finally go through with building this new box right? 8ight
That is why I wood glue all of my joints both inside the box along seems and on the surfaces that make contact in the joint. I use hardly and screws in my boxes (compared to most people here) to help maintain the integrity of the wood or MDF sheets themselves and have never had problems. Skullz
unscrew everything and pull it apart and clean all the surfaces and use some good wood glue and reassemble it. Should be better than it was before but make absolutely certain you got off all of the caulk, if you have to put the side that faced inside and switch them to the outside so you have a good clean surface for the glue to penetrate and then carpet it after you finish it.
