Personally I dont care either way, if some douche wants to say he doesnt support gays because of his religion, hes free to say that, just as I am free to say hes a douche..

Just going to throw something out here.. if you are going to follow snipits of your religion, and pick and choose which ones, how can you say you are religious

i to do not agree with the gay lifestyle but will never do anything about it i just don't agree

it seems like they feel we or chic a flick is pushing there beliefs on to gays and in return the gay community is shoving there beliefs down our throat (no pun intented)

and i don't think it has anything to do about being offended with what was said gay's have to put up with that there whole life its the fact that who said the anti gay remark is rich and is a good way to get there gay organization in the lime light and some publicity

how does any of this apply to this guy? Has he raped a woman? In your first quote it stated

this was past tense saying those who did ( all those who "would") not seek the lord was put to death. Again no relation as to his this applies to this guy at all and the same with the other quotes. There are some who follow religion who tries the best they can to do what they think is right as per the religion they are following but fall short as nobody is perfect. we can only try to do what we feel is best, the way we were raised and hope that ( if you are saved and believe in heaven) when you die you will make it there. I guess that's why sins are forgiven for when repenting.
