Cutdeluxes1
Box is going in 2001 tahoe. I think its to big for the amount of power, but would work if I used a aq2000 on each instead of strapped. its an option, and havent figured out of I want to strap or not. any input is appreciated. Joe X
Well, your enclosure dimensions do not match the box spec, besides that, using 1.5" wood is not necessary and would make the box very heavy, just some crossbracing will suffice for a solid build. The best way to run the 2 2200D is strapped to avoid the need of gain matching or a separate chamber enclosure, subs coils in series subs in parallel for a 2 ohm total load (for dual 2 ohm subs). Cutdeluxes1
Those number came straight off torres. Would do a screen shot but can't figure out how. Very heavy is ok to me, means no one will take it! I figured strapped would be better for single chamber. Just want to make sure that im not choking the subs or to much airspace due to the amount of power Im putting to them.
AMI CUSTOMS
My bro in law runs d9 at .25 ohm on 2 hdc3 15s alums coil with no problem in 7.8 cubes 17 sq in of port per cube. So your power won't be an issue. For that power I would do 9 cube net with 17 sq in of port per cube tuned the same. Do you have alum or copper coil hdc3? 412 CVX
I think you have a tad too much port area. Everything else looks pretty good. Quote Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs. My temp system build log More box buildssome cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches! I'm with captain stupid.
