john253a
i wouldn't worry about that, there are more imported things you answer first, first, budget? car? Toyota Camry? trunk? measurement? what do you want to achieve? supporting system? then your question is, what fits all the above and work with what i have? bassface
Id buy the best ones i could afford, because you could always add another amp later for more power.

Sergeant_Skyrim
American Bass XFL's should do you good. I think I saw ~180 a piece from an authorized AB dealer so that should fit your budget and they're rated 1kw ea. Build in progress
8ight
With that space, wattage, and budget it sounds like Obsidian Audio has you covered. You could get out under $400 shipped on two OA-12s, but don't clip them on 1000Wea, you need a new alternator. Camry alts are weak as it is (they like to 'splode). EDIT: Waiting for everyone posting below me to suggest Obsidian now. I'm gonna hate
Tim Lam
i'll take a look into American bass and obsidian. i was looking at some Sundown, but the SA's are 600rms(cooking) and Z's are 1500rms(raped by underpowering) i am looking at some DC level 3's. i know those get pretty loud. and "they like to 'splode"? Sheena
SA-12s will easily take 1k per driver. 2 SA 12s 3.5-3.8 cu ft box tuned to 32-35hz with 14-15 sq in of port per. and what he means by "they like to 'splode" is that, the alternator in your vehicle likes to explode. 09 Civic EX KDC-X395 (2) SKAR Audio VVX-12 Skar Audio SK-1500.1 4 cu ft @32 (new box and more port soon) Firing Forward not sealed off Stock 80 Amp Alt Big 3 In 1/0 Knu 2 Runs To The Back 1 Pos 1 Neg In 1/0 Knu DD-1'd 13.8v drop
jrchevy87
Sa12 will handle the power you just have to be careful setting everything. I run a sa12 on 900 Watts clamped on an ap1500 and that sob has been going strong for 3 months now. Ive never even smelled the coils Jeep Wrangler TJ Hardtop Build
