flwatersaver
i'd use it for multiple runs from a battery bank to amps, but be careful under the engine. most likely not able to withstand the heat in certain spots. sure it CAN work...but like i said, just be careful with it thats what welding cable is for !! it withstands heat ... welding cable is good for +105C ... i use a mapp as tourch to solder lugs onto welding cable and you cant even touch the wire when done but the jacket doesnt even melt !! I also use a map gas torch to solder on lugs, and i get that wire HOT. Welding 2/0 is about $250 ish for 100 feet. Well worth it. fecupe2001
i´ve never used welding cables before since they were so god damn expensive at venezuela, now i live at panama, and i met a guy a couple of weeks ago that can find me 2/0 welding cable for 1.85$ a foot, is that a good price? way better than the ceap car audio 0 gauge wires that i can find for that price? very nice topic Quote I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. bassface
Its great but isnt very flexible, thats why most car audio wire has so many strands. The more strands the more flexible the wire is.
HunterJohnson
I use welding cable for the big runs and usually knu concepts or kicker wire for the hard quick hard turns.
