armykyle1
I have wonder why did you decide to go with sundown mids and highs amp when your subs and bass amps are dc But it looks like it gonna look nice you would figure a 175.4 right? cross over settings maybe. maybe got a killer deal? Thats 32 speakers to 1 sax200.4 each getting about 60 watts. and its active capable (bandpass crossover) lol Dont get me wrong the dc is great and built like a tank ill deff buy it, but its only 2ohm stable per channel. Edit: lol @noelito, its the same thing as saying why are you running crunch mid/high amp when your bass amp is a dc lol.

CJ18
Cant make scrappin the coast, that is right in the middle of baseball season. I will be out playing wherever the yankees send me. I went with the 200.4s because of the amount of power I can get out of 1 single amp. To get the same amount of power from the 175.4s, it would have required me to have 5 of them. I could have fit them on the side of my wall, but them I would not have been able to fit the 8s and tweeters. Not hating the brand, if I were I wouldnt have bought them, just choosing to change the trim plates. Not like they will really be seen anyway. CJ18
But I don't think covering up the amp brand is cool.. hes not being paid to rep sundown. he can whatever he wants with it as far as im concerned. Not doing it because I am a DC Sales Rep though. I have no problem telling you that it is a Sundown amplifier, I just chose to not have the logo in my truck and went with a new plate that has the Team DC logo in the same style font that all of the lettering in the truck is done with. I wish I could have used the 175.4s, for most people a 1000w mids and highs amp is way too much or more than enough for their entire vehicle, but this build is a little different. I was able to get 2 200.4s at a very good price. Being able to run 3 total 4 channels just makes my life so much easier vs having to run the wiring for 5 4 channels. I am able to run less wire into the doors for the mids there and only require 1 power and ground hook up. Also only have 1 set of RCAs to run to each amp instead of having to split them off to be able to run 4 4 channels for the mids. Here is the breakdown for how the mids will be powered. 20 AA Carbon Mids------5 channels 8 Crescendo PWX 8s----2 channels 2 Crescendo PWX 10s---1 Channel 16 Crescendo FT1 Super Tweeters----100.
Mha
What do you have the 200.4 wired to? Can it realy run at one ohm?
CJ18
Yes it will run at 1 ohm per channel. Going to be at 1 ohm on the channels with the aa mids and crescendo 8s. Will be at 2 ohms on the 10s. The tweeters will be at 1 ohm also.
