412 CVX
May I politely ask what the fuck you do for a living? Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs. My temp system build log More box buildssome cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches! I'm with captain stupid. CleanSierra
I think either amp route is a good one along with all those electrical upgrades. I just don't agree on the sub choice. Sick score and sweet box! SXs are still made here in the US from what I'm told. With God knows WHAT parts or whatever, to my knowledge they are still Assembled here. This guy has been criticized and been given so much shit over his choices. The simple facts are these: it's HIS ride(a BEAUTIFUL Escalade at that), his money, his time, his hard work, and his hobby. It's frustrating to see all of the disapproving nods from on lookers. What equipment would YOU have been happy with HIM running in HIS ride I'm sorry, it's nothing against you, it's just frustrating to see the guy getting so much negative feedback. He seems like a really good dude, CF aside, the box was built better than a lot I've seen. His install was clean, his vehicle is clean and IMO System of the Month worthy once he gets his sound stage. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
Captain Stupid
May I politely ask what the fuck you do for a living? ^^^^^^ Thanks cleansierra, I appreciate the kind words. LOL, I'll tell you only if you promise not to judge me. I own a vending company and fill vending machines 3-4 days a week. About 85 machines total. Just a small operation that I run on my own with no employees, but I have several VERY good accounts. Then I own two hair salons. I built them both myself from empty commercial space including most of the furniture inside. My wife manages one and we have a hired manager for the other. 11 total employees there. I handle logistics and maintenance for the salons. Then, with the rest of my time I build CF motor plates for drag cars and Formica salon furniture, see pics below of our second salon, which opened on June 30th of this year.... 2006 Cadillac Escalade 2/3 drop on 28" wheels Two RE SX 18" subs RF T2500-1bdCP amp, 3531watts on birthsheet Custom carbon fiber sub box EVERYTHING else is stock, for now 149.4 @ 37hz, Termlab, dash, open window on two AQ3 18s all stock electrical, wired to .25 ohm on a RF T2500 148.8 @ 36hz, Termlab, dash, open window on one AQ3 18 all stock electrical, wired to .5 ohm on a RF T2500 147.8 @ 38hz, Termlab, legal, sealed on two RE SX 18s 146.4 @ 36hz, Termlab, legal, sealed on one RE SX 18 Link to my hack-built, stupid, carbon fiber wasting project.... http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/149946-carbon-fiber-box-update-1494db-37hz-on-tl/ http://gifsoup.com/NDM3MTc1MQ

Captain Stupid
UPDATE!!! Traded in the RF T1500bdCP for a T2500bdCP. Hooked it up tonight and it slams!! The 1500 was rated at 1860@1ohm, the 2500 rated a monstrous 3531@1ohm!! I've never seen one with such high birth sheet numbers! Anyway, I managed to just barely break the 150db mark. I scored a 150.0 at 38hz and again at 42hz with a little dip in the middle. Then on music, Psyph Morrison track 3, I scored a 148.8!!! I'm so happy I've got perma-grin!!! 2006 Cadillac Escalade 2/3 drop on 28" wheels Two RE SX 18" subs RF T2500-1bdCP amp, 3531watts on birthsheet Custom carbon fiber sub box EVERYTHING else is stock, for now 149.4 @ 37hz, Termlab, dash, open window on two AQ3 18s all stock electrical, wired to .25 ohm on a RF T2500 148.8 @ 36hz, Termlab, dash, open window on one AQ3 18 all stock electrical, wired to .5 ohm on a RF T2500 147.8 @ 38hz, Termlab, legal, sealed on two RE SX 18s 146.4 @ 36hz, Termlab, legal, sealed on one RE SX 18 Link to my hack-built, stupid, carbon fiber wasting project.... http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/149946-carbon-fiber-box-update-1494db-37hz-on-tl/ http://gifsoup.com/NDM3MTc1MQ
