worst amplifier fire in the history of caraudio

Recommended Posts

Literally just saw an MA audio 4000 catch fire on Thursday night. Car and HU was off but amp was on.... Dafuq

Nice fire! I've burnt shit up, but that was pretty.

and, I've had a burnt amp stay on after I pulled the remote wire out wink.gif

this I don't understand. Does the amp short out and stay on?

when the power supply circuit shorts out the amp can stay on thats when the only way to stop it is to remove its power cause its a dead short and if you dont it will burn to the ground till it drains all the power from your batteries.

Not sure why he won't fuse his stuff. But I am also no pro on classes and restrictions.

But seriously.. Get/make a couple hundred amp switch so when shit goes down, it's as simple as flipping a lever and there won't be as much of an 'oh crap my car is going to burn' moment
