HHR Ed
Once I saw that RU was crimping leads onto an aluminum coil vs. soldering them, I just shrugged and kept my mouth shut. a demagged motor is the last possible explanation. I would think its the parts used and build quality more than anything. I know of a magnetizing place in Kentucky and some woofer builders have a gauss meter and can actually measure to make sure they are OK. Smoove
I can honestly say I have never seen RU crimp leads. Everything has been soldered that I have seen. When did you see this? I have seen people give bad reviews a while back, but not much recently 2 Team Fi 15's v1 2 DD M5's 970amps of Alt 6th order blowthroughThe truck Blowthrough build : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/155555-smooves-1996-chevy-ext-cab-c1500-slow-build/The 350z build : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/170694-smooves-2003-nissan-350z/ My FB page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Smooves-Car-Audio-and-performance/719746144805343 Team Fi Audio http://www.ficaraudio.com/

I have seen people give bad reviews a while back, but not much recently It was on some of the forums a year or 2 back from an add they had on ebay. It started a debate about being able to solder aluminum coils. Which you can BTW, some are tinned and you can use flux. HHR Ed
Ive seen the de-magged thing first hand. Threw them right in the trashcan. Never looked at the cone job Cone job sounds like something you get in West Hollywood lol If it's a decent motor and worth a nice bit of cash, you can send the motors into a magnetizing shop and have them remagged for very little money. If its a $20 motor, youd lose the money in shipping though.
