I was using tones 40hzand1khz

Pink noise voltage will be low.

Had to troubleshoot the truck for a few hours so no vid.

Did do another test run and got 5.1x the ref voltage.

I retested today and got 4.7 this time with no clipping. I didn't try 40hz, are you averaging the two values to get your number?

Also, i cant get enough output from the ep2x using it's noise generator to see much voltage. Seems that the tone generator doesn't take into account the pre-amp setting so i can't adjust it's output.

Has anyone else done any testing of their own?

edit:

i think based on your results ray, the ep2x might be lying a bit about how much the e.q. actually effects output.

spl dust is an option you can get on the coils... it's great for extra 1000 watts of power

where can i get this spl dust and how much is it. is it hard to apply? lol
