AMI CUSTOMS Posted August 31, 2012 Report Share Posted August 31, 2012 I have heard this discussion several times brought up, I personally think by adding resin alone will add strength to the mdf due to how much that wood sucks up the resin, by doing so you change the properties of the wood and in my mind making it stronger. Now obviously if you add mat it will become increasingly stronger. But this is just my view not fact as it would have to be tested to confirm if resin alone does add strength. The resin smell over powers the smell of the coil. My dd1 is all fucked up so i stopped using it. I kinda need to smell the coil so i know when to back it down.
