flwatersaver
I would assume that the only way he fit it in there, was to take the actual meter out of the shroud and attach it to the front of the VU-DIN somehow, that's why I want to see the backside I did take it apart... He has the best install of any i have seen. The VM's were taken out of the shroud and CA glue was used to attach them to the VU-Din. You have to build the mount for the VU to sit back away from the glass a bit to fit the meters. Real96SS
Well took the VU-Din down today to get a couple pics of behind it but as you can see you cant see how the Stinger meters are attached because we had to secure the VU-Din so its not moving around with the bass.So it was mounted tilted back a little away from the glass so the meters would fit once they were taken out of their shrouds. this was all mounted and glued inside of a plastic case and then the case was glued to the Pod for mounting. I also have 2 switches for turning my Sub amp and mids amps on or off on the side of the pod. While it was down today I went ahead and retuned everything and dialed in the VU-Din again 2 Quote Vehicle 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche(Co-Co) DNX9980HD 6 Team Fi 15's(King Edition) 3 DC 9k's 8 Nendo PWX 8's 4 Custom Steg 4" Super Tweeters 1 DC Audio 175.4 1 DC Audio 90.4 Rockford 360.3 3 DC Power 370xp Alts(Externally regulated) 21 D1600's 2 D4800's All SMD RCA's AudioTechnix Deadner Viper Alarm My YouTube- http://www.youtube.c...NG?feature=mhee Link to buildlog- http://www.stevemead...4-15s-2-dc-9ks/ Link to UBL- http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/165059-ublkings-avalanchecoco-new-build-starting8-king-edition-15-team-fis-in-a-wallyes-a-wall/
