XL M2's making flap flap type noise on low note of Put On Decaf remix?

bottoming out has a very distinct sound.. not flappin its the bottom of the VC former hittting the bottom plate of the motor and sounds like a loud metal on metal tapping

flapping sounds usally come from exceeding the mechanical limits of the sub

long story short you ether have A. to much power B. your settings are fucked or C. all of the above

OR the ONLY FLAPS ON THE LOW NOTE OF.... know what i mean?

I could smash these and those... then flap on this, that and down (or whatever,just example)... until my SSF came in..... maybe i was A B and C.... dunno

playing too low, might be unloading on making some mechanical noise from loss of cone control. And if it is the last note of put on in decafs, it is ~24hz. could be a combination of many things like port area, tuning, filters on the amp, etc. (i think it is mainly port though). i can play 24 full tilt all day long but my port is like 11 per cube. (i have xl's as well). and i think i have heard what you are hearing but i get it in the 15-20hz range.

edit: for those who dont know, F3 is not the box tuning.

and bottoming out is FUCKING LOUD so you would know.

Could it be mechanical noise from the sub? If he's playing lower than what we can hear. Cause you kinda get that flap noise when you free air a sub.

Especially the decaf version.. Shit....

I could SMASH the 2nd & 3rd... But only movement, no sound on the 4th ...

You can hear the Mega Slowed big pimping just fine in my car.... yes it hits the low low note just fine

Play something that is quite normal,.. and everyone on the planet would be laughing at it..........I myself, have NO interest to PEG at and below 30hz., neat smiley face... for me... i would puke to hear that set up......with what i like to listen to....
