LT.Smoke
I prefer home-made jerky. Nothing beats a big batch of teriyaki deer jerky. LT.Smoke
Today my girl and I bought 2 packages of Jack links jerky and upon opening them found mold growing... It may have been a coincidence but I jus figured i would give everyone a heads up... Check the jerky before ya eat it Just to clarify the jerky we bought were the individual flat sticks in the packages not big bags.... Sorry for confusion... LT.Smoke
Make it a habit to check all dates on everything you purchase. It's rarely the manufacturers fault....a large percentage if the time it's because the reseller never circulates their inventory and who knows how long it's been sitting on the shelf. Side note, I can speak from experience as I work within the food manufacturing industry! I wasnt trying to blame jack links i just wanted ppl to be aware because I had never seen that until yesterday Team MaxRetribution Si Vis Pacem Parabellum Id rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 Bowhunting- Life Begins and Ends at Full Draw Bowhunting Team Fatal Trajectory Hunt Team http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/49335-sick96vtecaccords-t-line-build/?hl=sick96vtecaccord << Accord Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/68498-smokedout08impalas-tline-build/?hl=+sick96vtecaccord << Impala T-line build Rebassed.com for all your music needs 👌

That is not to say that manufacturers aren't at fault either. Not sure what the case was with your product....but mold on dehydrated product definitely seems like somewhere along the line the ball was dropped. Just as complete coincidence my family actually owns property in Minong WI which is where Jack Links is manufactured. I actually have had the pleasure of tourining their facilities and they are definitely a top notch outfit. They are crowd pleasers when it comes to the 4th of July parade around that area as they must throw out literally thousands of dollars in free beef jerkey from their float. Lol. Firm believer in letting my cars do my talking! You can't rush quality, it doesn't happen overnight. Quality takes time and dedication, but the end results more than pay for it. JEMT8
Let me guess.... you bought it at wal-mart? Nope it was from Walgreens Being a former employee of a walgreens, nobody ever rotated stock when new product came in so some of that beef jerky could have been sitting on the hook for a long time while new bags were placed in front of it. formerly known as Jaylor Swift
Hellbound Train
Looks like Lt. Jackass got fungused. lol. For real though bobby if you got it from walmart man I would not be surprised a bit. If you only knew half the shit I had seen working at walmart. Even some of the shit that came in from the warehouse was ridiculous.
