How can they be that bad? I know they usually ref weds-sat and then would sit back and watch the nfl on sun and mon. So now that they're doing the officiating, how the hell are they blowing calls that bad? everything happens so fast compared to what they are used too. they can't keep up and are basically guessing at the calls. Actual NFL refs are accustomed to the speed and are able to anticipate things before they happen. Divison III college football is about as fast as high school football, so you can imagine the speed difference they are experiencing. Maybe things changed, and they got rid of the div 1 refs but still... even the calls with replays. I couldn't care less about that seahawks packers game, but to blow that call, and it was reviewed? I can see maybe if things happened quick and "Wtf did I just see?" so they don't call anything or whatnot but especially the replays. How you mess that up? Things such as Broncos vs Texans. Injury and so the ref says that they're charged a team timeout. Uhm, what? It's not in the last 2 mins of any quarter. Last I heard, it's called an injury timeout. Seems the rules could use a change so you dont have two different calls which are both technically correct at the same time.. Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it.
