cool... enjoy.....

and 2 18's (NON STOCK ELEC) on your 6k netted a 51.......

sorry... carry on....

You forgot they were in a wall...

But really OP, you're not going to see anything of quality making 6k+ for that price point. Yeah a few DC 5k's went for $1,000.00 (including mine) but that is still that, a 5k. And still out of your 800-900 price range. Add some cash to it and buy something nice.

9k have been clamped at about 12,000 watts. Doubt the 5k wouldn't be underrated like that.

And the ones I saw were in the $800-$900 range.

Did that 9k clamp 12,000wrms on a 12V system wired to 1-ohm?

Do you really think a 5k WON'T do over 5k watts?

I dont feel like quoting all of the posts that I want to respond to so here are just some bullet points.

- The 9k did do over 12000w, but that was on an 18v system with voltage drop down to 15.5v.

- You can pick up used 5k amps for $800-$1000, but you are getting a used amp with no warranty.

- There is no such thing as too many batteries. Fit as many as you can afford and will fit into your vehicle.
