WastedTalent Posted October 14, 2012 Report Share Posted October 14, 2012 Hawks are good because they're physical. QB isn't anything special, such as a Brady, Brees, Manning, etc... but he's decent. Defense... they are hella physical with the WR. Think they were playing the Panthers and their WR (If it was Panthers, then was Steve Smith) got basically hit in the facemask/neck area on one play at the line of scrimmage. Then later on, he'd start to basically duck under the jam of the DB. They aren't anything all that special or great when it's ball skills (above average, but no Revis or Bailey in their primes), just the physicality at the line messes with the WR heads and yeah. We have good guys, they just need to get a little better at holding their ground at the line. Wilson wasn't getting much time nearly the entire game. Our D was OK, but not our best game on D. Really glad we pulled this one out because the Pats looked better than us most of the game other than the two interceptions. Was glad they let Wilson pass the ball in the second half, because we weren't doing much in the run game the first half. Wilson is a rookie and will continue to improve as a QB every game. As a rookie, he's prone to his ups and downs. Hopefully he is much more solid by the end of the season and gives us a shot at playoff time. They were too comfortable with the early lead. Then the Seahawks took advantage at the end. Looks like the Hawks might be around come playoff time.
