overpriced is relative.

overpriced compared to what?

compare something thats the same at a price decrease.....What do you even know about each of the drivers?

otherwise your just saying its overpriced to just say it.

I thought I was going to die from all the jizz filling my ears.

and sigged

That could be taken out of context lol

Not the same sub but but close as I could find.

And the fact more than one person agrees does not make it a circle jerk, it makes it a bukkake scene and you're in the middle ;)

Chick took 3 shots of Jager, and then, pissed in my mouth..

James, no I can't afford those Focals nor would I pay that even if I could.

And all DD products are overpriced.

I won't believe a cheaper quality sub in a proper install can't match it.

you should have the same outlook for anything that isnt the cheapest thing in life.

The fact of the matter is this.

Any woofer with a yellow cone, always costs a lot of money.

Ferrite ? Then more overpriced than I thought.

Hell if you can afford it cool, It's not for everyone for sure.

There is a reason for it though, ferrite is more consistent of a field. So the frequency curve is more linear.

You are paying for performance with this. And it's the type of performance most won't go for because nowadays people just want to get loud for cheap.

If you want loud and cheap, this is the opposite woofer for you.

BTW, I still wouldn't pay $2k for it. But I would also never buy from Crutchfield.

To a lot it's overpriced because people can't either

- Afford it

- See how it's any better than a Havoc for example

- Have no idea how to work with it to even make sound quality use of it

- Would rather buy a DDZ or a pair of SMD's because it's more powerful, louder, etc, etc

I have a neutral stance on it, would I buy it, no, I don't have money for subwoofer the same price my car was, but do I think it's overpriced, no not really because it serves as tool for someone looking to do something particular, it's not for everyone.

Though, if you think this is one of Focal's most expensive items, then look at their home line, this subwoofer is chump change compared to it.

in the video explaining their stuff they mentioned their tweeter's cones are made of irredium or some precious rare metal cause it had better properties then everything else. (btw it's more precious then gold)

and if thats not a precious metal and it's actually a radio active material then sorry i watched a lot of videos on the "nuclear boyscout" last night.

i guess they're just like the NASA of audio then? ie price is no object, just find the best materials for the job.

I think you have a bit of truck stuck in your mud bro
