looking for a solid , budget 1000 watt amp

im looking to get a good 1000 watt amp at a decent price. it can put out 1000 watts at 1 or 2 ohm and im going to get the dual 2 or 4 sub accordingly. its going to push 1 12" type r new model. just looking fot suggestions here

Try looking at the Hifonics BRZ1200, a little more than your asking but just dont have it cranked way up. You can usually get these amps at good prices for there output.

ive heard hifonics were good amps for being on a budget. and with the 1200 if they dont put out actual power i should still be safe

correct, and there isnt a huge drop in wattage from 1 ohm to two ohm, so if your car has really bad electrical and your on a major crunch, you can be more efficient and run it at 2 ohms. im sure 900 watts on 2 ohms is going to be plenty for the alpine and you wont even have to worry about it.

i have a stock alt but have a kinetik ( forget the model) in the back. i had an old school us amps 1500 watt amp running at 1 ohm in there before and never had any issues whatsoever

I just purchased an audiopipe 1500 it does 1000 rms clean at 1 ohm

look into the soundstream rub1.1000d. fairly cheap and it DOES rated power. Got it temporarily on a 15" x3 and it pushes the sub pretty damn good. great bump at a good budget!
