New Box?

i was thinkin of a few new box designs. this is one of the better ones i came up with. its basically the same as what i got now but with the subs angled and the port smaller to raise the freq

just a though...what yall think?? (also this is a rough sketch up)

This is similar to the one that Im going to be starting, I had heard that setups like this with the subs flaring out and the port inbetween, are real peaky, like they play great within their tuning give or take like 10hz but anything outside of that area they dont have great output. Anyone know if this is true or not?

yep...i def know about that. thats how my set up is now but what im trying to do is angel them to reduce cancellation and narrow the port to raise the tuning. but that statement is VERY true

Man I hate it when people talk about cancellation and subs in the same sentence. If the subs arent out of phase then done worry about cancellation that only occures above 100-120hz. Unless your gonna cross your subs at the high of a freq, dont worry about cancellation. Good idea though, what freq you looking for?

im lookin to get around like 34 htz. i love still hitting lows but thats where most rap songs are around. im tuned WAY too low now

well im wide awake...bored as fuck...in a shitty mood so im just gonna deisgn some boxes and see what you guys think

the outline is my bed the brown is the box and the blue is the blowthrough and the gray are the subs
