Is the Battery Tender Plus Good To Charge 5 Group 31 Batteries

I have one of those and keep it on a shelf now instead of charging my batts because it takes so long. I use the diehard gold charger from sears now instead. Never goes over 14.9 or 14.7, can't remember which, but it has a 2A, 12A, 30A, and 80 amp jump start option. I just retrofitted it for an easy plug in to use with either the 2A or 12A charge so I can quick connect it to my car.

Donald's as a switch from 2 amps to 10 amps .

I charge my 2 batts at 2 amps . Takes a night to get them floating at 13.

But 4 g31s or more ill probably switch it to 10 amps ..

I usually leave my volt meter on to walk by to see where it stays at .

its been about 3 hours now and its at 14.7

I have one of those schumachers and I use the gell cell option (has standard, agm, and gell cell modes) on it to charge my agms. Never goes over 14.5 and it has a several different charging speeds.

I have another Schumacher that only has the standard battery charging mode and that one charges at 15.3ish. It's collecting dust on a shelf.. Lol
