CDetty Posted November 9, 2012 Report Posted November 9, 2012 I had a random thought and I'm curious if anyone has ever put a system...in a school bus. Or even a charter bus. Large weight capacity and they're they're massive! 1999 Honda Civic- RIP 2003 Acura RSX Type-S
SnowDrifter Posted November 9, 2012 Report Posted November 9, 2012 I saw a video on YouTube with a pair of solo x 18s in one ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
Neckbeard Posted November 9, 2012 Report Posted November 9, 2012 there was a short bus in my town awhile back. I always thought 4 15's on two separate towers in the back corners pointin forward would have been cool Build log, Super slow!!: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/168096-slow-neckbeards-1970-opel-gt/
TRTC360 Posted November 9, 2012 Report Posted November 9, 2012 I've always wondered why someone hasn't been crazy enough to do a tunnel in a school bus with something like 36 18's, 100k+, 20+ batteries etc etc, not quite sure but I think most designs would have major cancellation issues with the subs farthest from the port, that is if it's built into a 4th or 6th order. Atleast that's what i've read on the forums. CDetty Posted November 9, 2012 Author Report Posted November 9, 2012 Hmm. A bunch of boxes to avoid the subs cancelling each other out? Lol. Maybe a short bus... 1999 Honda Civic- RIP 2003 Acura RSX Type-S
n8ball2013 Posted November 9, 2012 Report Posted November 9, 2012 you guys realize how expensive it would be to do it up the right way right? Linear power did a bread truck. LoudBimmer Posted November 9, 2012 Report Posted November 9, 2012 it'll make more sense to buy a beach house, than to build a massive system in a school bus.
LT.Smoke Posted November 9, 2012 Report Posted November 9, 2012 you guys realize how expensive it would be to do it up the right way right? Linear power did a bread truck. Boss did an armored truck. I would estimate that it would cost more than most people on this forum make annually and I think i may be erring on the side of conservative with that estimate Team MaxRetribution Si Vis Pacem Parabellum Id rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 Bowhunting- Life Begins and Ends at Full Draw Bowhunting Team Fatal Trajectory Hunt Team http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/49335-sick96vtecaccords-t-line-build/?hl=sick96vtecaccord << Accord Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/68498-smokedout08impalas-tline-build/?hl=+sick96vtecaccord << Impala T-line build Rebassed.com for all your music needs 👌
ZachG Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 It would have major flex issues, they would need a stripper pole every 3ft, but it would be really cool, with like 16 21s so you stop infront of a store and make people think there's a earthquake 1998 Pontiac grand prix gtp supercharged2 12" Obsidain Audio V.1 on a 2011 zx1500.1 at 2 ohms. 20ft of Knuconceptz CCA 0 Guage. 2nd Battery is a Shurken BT-120.
