Its harder to see in rain with any bulb. If it truly is harder to see in the rain with HIDS, Im sure the difference is neglegible. Rain sucks for any headlights tho. Damn, I may need to keep that in mind. My headlights are really faint and I've only had them for like a year. I wanna get HIDs, but I think they'd look weird on a Jeep Cherokee haha it's hard to tell with regular reflectors. What most people associate with HIDs are projector beam assemblies. I can see on some assemblies being designed for the exact position of a filiment of an incandescent bulb not reflecting as well with a wide source like HIDs, after installing them in regular reflectors. But in vehicles with stock HIDs vs same vehicle with out, the difference is amazing even in the rain. 2007 Pacifica Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud.
