level6 or sp4 box size bad idea?

Im wanting to do 2 18's either level6s or SP4s

My problem is the box... i can only do about 10cu.ft.

So my question is will this be a bad idea?

They both say i suggested space is 6cu.ft.

Will i ruin the subs by doing this?

I guess my real question is What will be the result when putting subs into a box that is under the suggested net volume.

I know ive read if you do a smaller box you should use more power. but what if i stick with the suggested rms rating?

Im sorry there are so many questions here i just really dont know a lot about why a sub needs a certain about of space.

I guess they could be my last subs were 15's i wanted to give 18s a shot and see what they were like.

What do you mean by proper power? 4500 each? and volts up or can i do 3500each?

If you want to run the Level 6 18s, with that size box, you could run a 7.5k per sub at 1 ohm.

lol im kidding I know im probably going to have to or wall it to get the 12 cubes but i was trying to make it so i can use my rear view mirror still.
