Eh ill wait until tomorrow and see what it feels like. No more loud music for a few days lol. Lets hope my mom doesnt find out about this thread.. Ill never live it down I only mean if it keeps up. Like it was said a infection may have been starting. The one thing I would like to add your young it will heal. To tell the truth any music above 120-130 is permenant hearing damage period. Our hearing,well some,doesn't really hear the bass at low frequencys. So when there is hearing damage it is slow and subtle due to that fact. Sometimes it takes a long time but it's there. I'm not saying by no means this is your case at all one time is very slim. Inner ear infection with lots of bass causes the same feeling it hurts like heck. I go through it every few months. Over time it can and will damage hearing, but a few minutes of even 160s level in the 30-50 hz range won't be permanent, just hurt a little. Now continued exposure will damage your hearing even low freq. Just a price you pay to be a basshead. From years of hearing 150s+ on music, I can tell my hearing is worse then it was 10 years ago, when people are talking to me I have to ask them to repeat what they said or huh? Come again? What was that? 10 years ago I didn't have to. If it is starting to hurt, you need to turn it down or leave the area. Just make a decision if you want to take it or not. And only a doc can tell you if you have permanent damage for sure.
