I wish I could wrap my head around all of the cross forum beefing between everyone not just Meade. No matter what anyone says or how anyone feels Steve along with a very small group of people have managed to keep this hobby alive and really make it what it is today. Everytime I visit any other forum at all it's like I am bound to run into a thread talking about Meade or one of his products (forget the fact that it was designed by who it was designed by lol). I can't help but wonder what one person could have really done to piss the whole world off. I mean damn I just went to the CACO thread and within seconds read a comment that said "I won't pick sides because I don't know what's happening but if it is against meade I am on your side". Dafuq? honestly we are all (even the 17 year olds) a bunch of grown ass men who have a common love for this fucking hobby but it seems like most people would rather bitch and moan about Steve not responding to their comment than reading and learning themselves. I swear I am getting to the point where I don't even want to visit any other forum because there is just a general lack of respect and the funny thing is the forum mods will let it happen and won't do shit hell sometimes they join in. It just gets to me how grown ass men can act like little hoes on the internet. If I got something to say to you, you bet your ass I am coming to see you. Hell I'm 5'8 175lbs and very unthreatening but I'm man enough to come see you if I have an issue to address if we fight, we fight, win or lose we're gonna shake hands and respect each other as men when we walk (or limp) away. All of this bullshit needs to turn a corner because it's seriously killing the sport and the hobby. At this point I can't even blame Steve for finally bursting and going off because damn it happens so much it gets old real quick. Hell even I am tired of it and instead of just letting it die these fuck boys run around stirring up shit to get that 15 minutes of fame. Is a few views on YT or a little thread attn really worth how we look as a community. I guarantee I can title a thread that says Steve Meade... and it will go viral in a matter of seconds full of the garbage people want to spew. I hate the fact that I can't even talk about car audio anymore and people not get in a pissing match over brands or who wronged who and what owner did what. Then you get the know it all know nothing big mouth idiots who run out and tell the world what they heard and what they learned on the interwebz.
