kirill007 Posted December 1, 2012 Report Posted December 1, 2012 Why would you want to buy a 1200W amp? Buy a better 1000W amp and you won't hear the difference between 1kw or 1.2kw. you dont even know what brands hes thinking about for an amp. your post is kind of pointless. My post is pointless? thanks for making that clear. Does it even matter if you have a amp that puts out 900w or another amp that puts out 1300w? If you actually think you'll hear a difference, you are wrong. To the topicstarter, you shouldn't worry about "box rise". When you're going to buy a amp, don't worry about the wattage, like i said you won't hear a small difference like that. If you buy a sundown, digital designs, rockford fosgate, JBL, audison, hertz, JL audio amp it will last you for a long time and you won't lose too much money if you sell it later. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.

ChevyBoy95 Posted December 2, 2012 Report Posted December 2, 2012 A decent amount of time. The 8 layer 3 in coil can thermally take 3-3.5krms, people have issues when they go into mechanical limits, which can be fixed with an upgraded spider pack.
