Jessica Posted December 11, 2012 Report Posted December 11, 2012 Team Gates "Alma Gates?" did a PPI build with like 64 10's in a "W" shaped 1/4" thick aluminum enclosure. That was a SPL vehicle, 2" thick glass, pneumatic plungers with steel wedges to close the doors tight. Bagged suspension. yadda yadda. All in a bronco. Could do slot port instead. figured at 14.5x1.75x11.75 long with wood box. I need to recalculate all measurements for thinner box walls and refigure again. still tossing the idea around though. No need to clip it because of the headroom I have with the power. Dang spider wire broke on the Focal when glue came off the cone. Time to redo! This is a std cab truck!! System is changing soon!! Looking to do a 3 way setup up front, and may double that up, to get the volume. Also have 2 Orion HCCA15d early vintage and 3 Orion XTR2250 on hand. Looking for Audison VRX, LRX or Zapco c2k to possibly add in.

I know someone posted a spl build up here recently that was a big large ratio fourth order for 2 xl 18s that used steel drums as the sealed chambers. Drewcantrell85 Posted August 10, 2017 Report Posted August 10, 2017 This is an all metal 316ss subwoofer box. Has twin walls that are pressured separate from sub air space. Use the valve and psi gauge with compressed air to 15 psi to eliminate wall flex. Herculiner on inside and out. Two re audio six with 2.4 cu ft on each side.
