Leo1103 Posted June 5, 2013 Author Report Posted June 5, 2013 made an extension for my radio harness today, once I get a mids/highs amp I'll make another one though putting this many wires in split tube looming SUCKS, almost didn't have enough room for all of them Every wire was soldered and heat shrunk, since the last time I used butt connectors half of them got ripped out. Leo1103 Posted June 6, 2013 Author Report Posted June 6, 2013 Got a lot done today ran the extended radio harness which was an absolute pain in the ass, hooked up the deck, no radio atm need to find an extension, popped in the center console. While I was at it I decided to throw my tablet in as well. okay the dry fit of the center console went perfectly except for one small hiccup thanks to the foam models it came pretty close to flush so happy this worked out Its in! still need to figure out how to hide these SHWIIIIING!! money shot hooked it up to a bt obd meter and threw some gauges together quick and a video tablet was dead and phone had low batt so its kinda dark. Leo1103 Posted June 12, 2013 Author Report Posted June 12, 2013 well I started doing some tweaks to fix the problems I've been having with the center console 1 angle of the radio is too vertical and hard to see in sunlight 2 total height of center console is too high 3 storage space is limited so today I made a little bracket on the inside to hold the radio at a better angle I trimmed up the fiberglass to open up the storage space some more Tomorrow I'll cut an inch off the entire top to drop it down bit and start work on the armrest. The plan as of now is to wrap it all either Thursday or Saturday depending on how lazy I am oh and a bonus pic 2002 Honda CR-VAlpine 9887My BuildRebuilding...
