Rmichael91 Posted December 14, 2012 Report Posted December 14, 2012 (edited) I haven't heard them in person. But after researching the last few months, and drawing mockup plans, and a number of YouTube videos, hearing a lot of very good feedback about them here on SMD and a few other places, I've chosen to go with them the Vxxi's. As well as for the rest of the gear in my system. Here's a few YouTube video's Kevin's posted himself - Edited December 14, 2012 by Rmichael91

Rmichael91 Posted December 15, 2012 Report Posted December 15, 2012 Being an aluminum silk dome tweeter, they're a little harsh unless they're set on the -3db at the crossover.
deathcards Posted December 21, 2012 Report Posted December 21, 2012 Being an aluminum silk dome tweeter, they're a little harsh unless they're set on the -3db at the crossover. depends on the vehicle and how much u have used them my impala needed -3 dbbut in my yukon they can be at 0db without harshness i love my set they get loud without being harsh right now i have been looking for the cord for my camera otherwise i would post up my distance test video skar sk2500.1 0 gauge power and ground kunukonceptz alpine HUvxi65 components on BA gt-275new build log -> http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/150642-project-d-kon-deathcards-build-log/#entry2148821 2 x-15 sundowns singer alt, odyssey bat, and maxwell ultra caps
