I haven't heard them in person. But after researching the last few months, and drawing mockup plans, and a number of YouTube videos, hearing a lot of very good feedback about them here on SMD and a few other places, I've chosen to go with them the Vxxi's. Very nice set actually. I have two sets in my car and love them. Only suggestion is to hook the tweet up on the x-over at -3db. They scream lol

Being an aluminum silk dome tweeter, they're a little harsh unless they're set on the -3db at the crossover.

depends on the vehicle and how much u have used them my impala needed -3 db

but in my yukon they can be at 0db without harshness

i love my set they get loud without being harsh right now i have been looking for the cord for my camera otherwise i would post up my distance test video
