Watch the bass
I guess you 2 15 AA Havoc´s out of the AA sale http://www.stevemead...-will-continue/, this amps for the sub´s http://www.ebay.com/...61cd9f1&vxp=mtr. That´s together 900 $. 2 of those nicepriced RF comp´s for the door´s http://www.stevemead...onent-speakers/ powered to stay in one brand with this Soundstream 2 way reference amp http://www.ebay.com/...=item20cdb553c9 (is absolute lowest price on E-bay). And for the rear get something nicepriced less wattage needing 6.5 coax or 6x9 like those http://www.sonicelec...anzar-MX62.html and wire them to the HU, you need only a very little from the rear. Good car-audio sound comes from the front. If you need a second batt, i recomand that with near 3 K amppower here is a nicepriced batt offer http://www.stevemead...ike-a-bad-deal/ Oh I was thinking of the sa 12 s. Or obsidian Switch the Havocs out in my first post for the AA Chaos i http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/156570-aa-sale-prices-will-continue/ they are rated 200 watt´s higher than the SA´s and can surly take a beating. AA is a very well known subbrand here. "in the abundance of water, the fool is thirsty" Bob Marley

stroupe79
for amps and mids/highs Crescendo is a great way to go for a budget friendly build... http://store.crescendoaudio.com/amplifiers/ you can get a 2k mono and 4channel for less than $700 and their mids/highs are super affordable, that would leave a nice bit for subs and electrical 2 12s sealed forward from the trunk in a ported box would be the ideal setup in a Mustang http://www.stevemead...cherokee-build/ 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Alpine CDE-hd148bt Alpine PKG-RSE2 PRV Audio (4) 6MB200 front/rear doors PRV Audio (4) TW350Ti dash/rear doors Kicker KX350.4 Obsidian Audio (1) 18 D4 v2 revamp (2) Stereo Integrity HT 18d2DC Audio 1.2k5.25ft^3 tuned @34hz revamp Infinite Baffle Cpillar AudioTechnix 60mil deadenerKnuKonceptz & SkyHigh wire (complete setup)
lowsound10
There's no way you can fit 2 15s in a trunk of a mustang. 2 12s will be hard as hell even with the right box. Unless I'm missing something were you said its a wall or removing his back seats I'd try 2 12s but you'll have to build in the trunk. And trying to fit batteries in there is going to make it worse. kingsuv
These threads asking for advise for a "buddy" always scream bullshit. If your buddy is coming to you, then he regards you as knowing more about these things then him. Then you read posts in a thread that make your head hurt from the amount of facepalm in it. You being "his car audio expert" should have a pretty clear understanding of what he needs, and what will work. Unless its not really for your "buddy" ;) and you were trying to ask for yourself. Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out. not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.

CleanSierra
Yeah the "my buddy" threads always make me stroke out! You should know better that he can't fit 2 15s in the trunk of a mustang. You should also know better than to want your "buddy" to wall his car as a first or one of his first setups cage skills between the both of you, don't seem to be there yet to tackle a project like that. My suggestion, 2 Skar or Sundown entry level stuff(IVX or E series). Put these subs in a proper ported enclosure and throw a good 1000W amp on them and call it a day. If you need help with a box design, plenty of us will help. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
