CWorthington
Currently i have a line driver made by Rockford Fosgate. It is the RF-BLD 360 I orginaly used a line driver for its line output converter. I wont have to use it soon here after i put my new Pioneer AVH-X5500BHS that i just ordered in. I think i will need to use it to keep the noise low at very high volumes. The line driver feeds a Hifonics Brutus 1200.1 powering a, soon to be, NVX VCW122 running close to 1000 wrms in a custom made 1.50 cu.ft. box tuned to ?hz (after i make it). Would i need to use one? If not what scenarios would i need to use a line driver? I really should go to school for this stuff...
hdorre
The AVH-X5500BHS has three pairs of 4 volt preouts. I dont see why you'd want to boost that. That Hifonics amp is rated to be fine with the input voltage between .2 and 9 volts. You dont need the line driver. will77530
you use it for decks with low output voltage or as a high low converter you however should not need it
