the_garynator
Now for some Powah! It's a big bitch:No room for it in the back unless I tear everything back out again, which will be done in the near future, but hooked up in the back seat for now lol:This thing made a pretty big difference...can't wait to get a second lvl 6 and build a proper box for it. Planning on doing a C-Pillar wall because the car doesn't seem to want to seal worth a shit and from talking to Mike Singer, a wall is about the only way to go. going to try to get some numbers tonight and maybe a video if enough people comment Current Build: Project Flexington: 157.6db @ 37hz Parallel 6th order walk through, DC Neo Elite 18s, 4 DC 5.0ks, JY Lithium, 12 banks of XS Caps Old Builds:150db and HAIRTRICKs from 2x 12" Power Acoustik Mofos (6th order blow through) ;<p>Roadmaster Wagon Build - DC LVL 6 M3, Kicker Warhorse ; Godzilla swapped 240sx ; 6th Order Bandpass Alpine Type R 12 ; Fully loaded DC Level 5 18" 240sx
the_garynator
Well, no comments but I did grab a video lol Amp gain set by ear to about half, I'm sure there's more in her, but my DD-1 doesn't work with this, so until I get an o-scope on it, this will have to do. Volume was 5 notches from full tilt, my voltage doesn't hold up well at full tilt and I didn't want to take the chance of overheating the sub while making a vid. (same song as the previous video) All I can say is WOW, this thing puts out some power. Definitely louder than the apsms, seems to have flattened out the response, my guess is it deals with box rise a bit better. Can't wait to get her on the meter and see what she does now. the_garynator
Can't wait for it to be done bro. Gonna be nice Thanks man. small update: damn hatch latch broke again on wed. This will be the 3rd time I've fixed it. Thought 1/8th" steel would do the trick, apparently not lol. For now I've got it ratchet strapped down at the window strut mounts on each side. Haven't gotten a chance to fix it as it will require pulling the loading wall, all the ports, climbing behind, removing deadening, drilling out some rivets, just to get to it to get it open, then I have to fix it lol Also threw it on the meter. A testament to how poorly this car seals/meters, probably over doubling the power has netted exactly 0 gain over the audiopipes, even though it feels much louder. Guess it's time to wall the bitch lol. (yes, I know I could gain by deadening/other mods, but I'd rather spend the time working on the c-pillar forward and avoid having to fix the hatch and everything over and over again if I can) was planning a parallel tuned 6th order c-pillar wall for the single 18, then redoing it when I get a second one, but kinda considering doing a series tuned to try it out first.
