str86diesel Posted November 11, 2006 Report Share Posted November 11, 2006 Ok guys..finally got a sub enclosure worked out for my truck, so I need to know which sub you guys would reccomend for some good solid beats in a .95cf sealed enclosure, down firing at the truck floor. I was thinking about a JL 10W6V2, but the box only has 7 inches of mounting depth :'( Any ideas? (also budget is not a concern to me...I need beats bad. Quick question on power, the specs say 800rms. So I've got a Hifonics BX1500D in which is supposed to do 1500x1 at 1 ohm. so If I get that FI 10 in dual 2 ohm coils, wire it in parrellel, down to 1 ohm and put the BX1500D on it, is that gonna be to much power? Or should I opt for the dual 1 ohm coils, wire it in series and only put 1000x1 on it?
