I agree with you my friend. And EXCESSIVE in any direction, any way, shape or form. Either religion, or law, overboard is never ever good. But, you dont think the 23 papers signed were a lil excessive? or, a lil jump the "gun". So to speak? Or going off half cocked ? Ok Ok ,.. im done with the puns.... But, you see what we are saying? Honestly, I'm not a huge advocate for guns since I don't own one, but I'm not against anyone acting on their right to bare arms either. I can appreciate the use of weapons, especially in any kind of defense...but I've also never needed an AR at JCPenney. To me, in it's simplest form, banning guns is the equivalent to punishing the whole class because little johnny got the answer wrong. It doesn't make sense to take them away from everyone because a select few choose to use them with bad intentions....they're always going to be around, legal or not; so the government needs to take a long time to figure out how they can come up with a solution. unfortunately, our gov. is constantly bullied (and allow themselves to be) into making a decision right away, which leads to instances like this. You make a good point, but I still feel a rifle isn't necessary in a department store. This isn't a warzone where every place in America is in the hands of criminals. Id like to think I can go out to eat or shop and not need a firearm...It seems as though that is the extreme trying to be displayed here. Basically, there needs to be a mutual decision made without the excess.
