Anyone rent CC-1s on here?

Recommended Posts

There is a thread that lists the geographic location of members and their corresponding SMD equipment for just these types of situations. I can't remember what it's called, but I will do some digging and see if I can get you a link.

The whole renting dd-1/ cc-1 thing is a cool idea..

Maybe have someone put in a deposit and pay for shipping and when the item is returned you can give them part of their deposit back or something.

This is why you post your location in your profile. It doesn't have to be exact, but give people an idea since not all people with a dd1/cc1 will be on that map but are still willing to help. If It's local to me, I'll meet someone to do it for free or make them do it themselves with a little verbal instruction.

If you can't find one: Turn your filter down/up all the way in ac the cc-1 directions.

Play the tone you want at 1/2 volume or so, measure the voltage with a DMM, multiply it by .707, then adjust the crossover knob until the voltage you read matches the one you calculated
