tacomaguy1 Posted January 24, 2013 Report Posted January 24, 2013 Sub is mounted normal, but when the sub hits it is inverted? if that helps, And also, how would this sound: 4 subs total, 2 are hitting normally, and the other 2 are (wired?) invertedly. so i could have a cool looking set up? if that sounds right... (Noob btw...) don't do this....they would cancel each other out, be trying to play against each other Mount them normally and wire them all in phase Team Flex Issues
will77530 Posted January 24, 2013 Report Posted January 24, 2013 i feel like if i try to answer this question its just going to confuse my self but fuck it lets give it a try.........if all your subs are mounted normal or mounted inverted the are wired normal...if 2 subs are mounted normal and two are inverted the two that are iverted you need to reverse the wiring to keep everything in phase if you dont do this youll hvae cancellation and it will sound like ass

MrSkippyJ Posted January 24, 2013 Report Posted January 24, 2013 Are you saying the cone moves in first? If so, unless it is wired wrong, it's just an optical illusion. (Noob btw...) it wouldnt be nearly as loud.... all of the subs need to be firing in the same direction to create pressure and make bass. if 2 are firing out and the other 2 firing in the not near as much pressure is being made... http://www.memphiscaraudio.com/My car: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/160564-2000-camaro-2-mojo-12s-videos-up/#entry2314594
